A loyal client often recommends your salon to friends, but you never know who comes on their behalf, and they get nothing for it. You want to thank them and give their friends a reason to book.

Launch the programme
In Marketing, Referral tab, turn the programme on: 10% for the friend, 20% for the referrer once the appointment is honoured, first appointment only.

They share their link
From their client space, your client creates their code and sends the link to a friend, who sees a page announcing their discount.

The friend books, your client is told
The friend books with the code already filled in and gets 10% off. Once the appointment is honoured, your client receives an email: their reward is unlocked.
What you get
You know which client brought which new client, the friend has a concrete reason to book, and your ambassador is thanked.
Good to know
Referral applies to appointments, not to shop orders. A person can only be referred once per salon, and only one discount applies per booking.

Questions about client referral
What rewards can I offer?
A percentage discount, a euro amount or a free service, set separately for the referrer and the friend. By default, the form suggests 20% for the referrer and 10% for the friend.
When is the referrer rewarded?
By default, when their friend's appointment is honoured. You can also reward them at booking. They receive an email when their reward is unlocked.
How do I prevent abuse?
The same person can only be referred once at your salon and nobody can use their own code. You can also limit the offer to the first appointment, set a minimum basket and cap the number of friends per referrer.
Does referral stack with a promo code?
No, one discount applies per booking: a referral code cannot be combined with a promo code or a gift card.
Do my clients need to install an app?
No. The referrer creates their code from their client space, on the web or in the app, and their friend books from your online booking page.
Is it included in my plan?
Yes, client referral is included from the Start plan. Turn it on from the Referral tab of your Marketing space.
